Just a quick though for your consideration…

I was overwhelmed with this simple truth yesterday: we as the human race are profoundly judgmental.

My heart broke as I read my newsfeeds. You cannot have the level of anger and hatred we see in the world today without people casting huge judgments upon one another.  It really is the that simple.

Truly, we would not have the level of frustration within ourselves if we had not already decided what is in the heart of another.

Have you ever thought, “How could Jesus love so well?  If anyone had the right to be judgy, it was Jesus.  How could He so easily embrace those who would eventually crucify Him?”

The answer is simple.  Rather than determining what people deserve, He determined what they needed. So…he healed…freed…restored…and delivered.

He loved.

If you want to overcome the distress and chaos you see in the world, you have to see everyone as needing a Savior rather than deserving hell.  If you don’t embrace another’s pain, you will only reflect your own pain.

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.” (Luke 6:37)

  1. It is easy to be judgemental when what we see feeds our spirit. Good reason to keep clean those feeds and social media accounts. One advice I received from an endurance athlete was to clean up social media so that everything supports where I am going. Let’s love. Amen P. Jim.

      1. I think if you are a true believer then it is up to you to be a meesenger of Gods love to others. I honestly dont know if i could do that. I can only imagine how hard it was for God. I try to always be patient with other people even when they are wrong, i believe thats part of Gods love and as a messenger i try to always do that

  3. Spirit living reveals many judgements I’ve had and didn’t realize it!! Specially judging myself.
The journey of this life is not wasted when restored through His Spirit.

  4. Super pertinent. Totally agree! Seeing each other through the eyes of God. Sons and daughters. Human beings. Though made a little lower than the angles. Crowned with such glory. Just like Jesus.
