Good morning, everyone!

The sun is shining.  I have coffee in hand.  And in this moment, all is right with the world…as long as I’m not listening to closely to my social and media feeds, right?!

I have a simple truth to share: you really are what you listen to.

Think about it.  What if your daily influx of social information only came from real human contact—gracious words exchanged as you passed by the cashier…kind words through a text with a good friend…dinner with family…laughs while watching one of you favorite movies with some of your favorite people?  All socially distanced, of course!

Your emotional experience of life would be completely different.  Wouldn’t it?  It would no longer be the fruit of what you’re being fed, but the product of what your willing to experience with others.

I love how Jesus said it, “Ask and you will receive.  Seek and you will find.  Knock and the door will be opened to you.”

So simple!  What you pursue is what you will receive.

If you don’t like what you’re receiving, then find a different door.

More to come…

    1. Pastor Jim, inspite of not being at the church in recent mo nths, we have faithfully stayed connected, hearing your word and with our friend connections in the body. We are mindful often of the responsibility you carry with and FOR The Lord. This perspective I must say, was/is challenging to me. Why( yes this is a bit humorous but true) why?- I enjoy FOX news. I rzrely ever watch movies and often comment that ” Fox” is my entertainment. Thatsa whole other subject. So- you must be laughing or expressing some concern. 🙂 The Lord has cracked my shell a little and just steppin’ out here. We love th’ both of you and highly respect your walk, not to mention HIS LIFE that you direct us to! Georgia. BLESS-ED BE HIS POWER and GRACE IN YOUR LIFE

  1. Hi Pastor JIm- Praying for you and all my church Family. I love love love the Lord with all my heart. Yes, He hears me when I call. And I couldn’t wait to share what happened this morning. I was looking out my front window, and there were three black bunnies in my neighbors driveway. The house kitty-corner to me had a white bunny in front of their house. I said, ” I want a bunny in my yard” (I’ve been wanting a bunny for a long time, but to day I voiced it out loud) A few minutes later, I’m looking out my back window and saw a squirrel, I said out loud,” I like my squirrels, but I want a bunny”, and there it was, a little brown bunny came hopping along in my backyard! PRAISE THE LORD, GLORY HALLELUJAH, THANK YOU JESUS!! Thank You, Thank You Praise You Lord!! Ask and you shall receive… God is SO GOOD. We ARE BLESSED Love and miss you Pastor and Lorelei.
