It was my granddaughter’s first birthday…the picture says it all!

When the cake came out, she sat there with trepidatious uncertainty. And then…we started to sing. Now, she was completely convinced that this was a bad thing!
As you can surmise from the next moment, she determined that, perhaps, this cake thing really isn’t so awful.
With all things new, isn’t that the way it is with all of us. We are completely and thoroughly terrified of unknown territory. We can’t imagine that the good thing is really that good.
But as it is with all new visionary moments, they usually turn out to be exactly what we needed…producing a joy that exceeds our expectation.

My call to you is simple: EMBRACE SOMETHING BRAND NEW,today. No matter how small it is. Not a single day exists, where God doesn’t open the gifted possibility for you and me to experience a new thing.
God continually pours this promise over our lives:
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; not it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:18-19, ESV)
Right now, regardless of what you see around you, “new things” are abundantly erupting all around you. God demands that you see it.
Routine chokes out the miraculous. It binds the hands of God. It accepts stagnation as normal. And when there is no movement, there is only a slow death.
I’m praying for each one of you—may you see what is currently invisible to you. The Lord is granting you fresh vision like never before. You are not hemmed-in as the world would declare to you.
The Lord has told me that in the midst of this year’s storm it is the year of restoration—a restoration of the Gospel of the Kingdom. It’s the year where God is restoring our faith that He is good and that wherever He is allowed to reign, His supernatural goodness will always flourish.
Let every miraculous good thing of God rain down upon you as you step into the new thing He has prepared for you.
Eat the cake! Don’t’ be afraid. I promise…it’s good!
I love it!
I currently have this terrifying thing in front of me! Yet “terrifying” only exists in my imagination because it is unknown. I hear the Lord’s leading, “Don’t worry about ALL that, just take the next step.” Doing that! Thanks for the encouragement!
